Our Land Clearing Process

At Midland Sitework Solutions LLC, we understand that land clearing involves far more than driving a bulldozer through the property and calling it a day. Every project involves a multi-step process to ensure compliance, safety, and thoroughness. Here’s what you can expect when you turn to our team for land clearing:

1. Compliance Checks: Before you call us, check with your local government to ensure your land is not environmentally protected or restricted. Of course, if you don’t know what questions to ask or how to find this information, please ask us for help.
2. Walkthrough: Our contractors will visit the site to assess what vegetation, obstructions, and other obstacles need to be cleared. We’ll explain the whole process and get your sign-off on the work.
3. Equipment Delivery: We’ll bring our tested equipment to your property. Depending on the size of the job, we might bring simple hand tools (for small areas) or heavy equipment (for large-scale projects). Rest assured that everything will be cleared with you ahead of time.
4. Tree Removal: If trees need to come down, we use the appropriate equipment to cut them down. We’ll also remove the stumps and roots, but that comes later.
5. Brush Clearing: Next, we remove shrubs, bushes, and other undergrowth from your property.
6. Stump Grinding: To ensure the trees we removed don’t grow back, we grind them down to ground level. We will also remove roots if necessary.
7. Debris Removal: We clear away the logs, branches, and other debris on your property, whether we created it during the job or it was there before we started.
8. Herbicide: If necessary, we’ll use chemicals like glyphosate to kill any remaining grass and weeds.
